My name is Laszlo Molnar and I am a Visual Artist

As a single child who spent a lot of time on his own as parents worked around the clock, I needed to find something exciting that I could do on my own, so I started to draw and paint at a very early age of my life, and this led to a life-long passion for creative arts.

I’ve been always involved in creative or applied fields of art more or less, but I never had a real chance to go in for painting and other creative activities with 100% as I had responsibilities and needed to provide for family. In the past I used my spare time to create art, but the desire to create was so huge that I needed to make a decision to change my life completely that I would be able to devote my time to painting.

As a result of it last year at the age of 55, I applied to the Fine Art Course of London Metropolitan University, and I was awarded a seat on the course. The first semester is already gone, and it was a wonderful, wonderful journey so far. I had my first end-of-year exhibition and I received very positive feedback both from my tutors and fellow classmates and it reassured me that I made the right decision.

I dedicated the domain name to Imre Montágh. He was a fascinating and captivating person who worked as a speech therapist until his passing in 1986 aged 51.  Though I did not know him in person, any time I listened to him, I was completely starstruck. He was so energetic, enthusiastic about the way we speak and express ourselves.

After the announcement of his tragic and untimely death, I decided to use his surname. This is my way to express the appreciation and respect towards his oeuvre and achievements.
